Sorry blog. i’ve been busy picking the dead skin off my legs. no really, while in Costa Rica I got crazy burnt. I will spare you from the pictures of bubbling skin and sheets of skin peeling off (i think that is the ONLY good part about getting burnt!!).
I am having a fantastic weekend and hoping you are too. Got to clean the house that Garrett and Acacia will be moving into (my old apartment which has been thrashed). Hopefully they will have a nice clean place to start over when they get back! I also just re-purchased Madonna’s Ray of Light album. IT IS SO GOOD. When i was living in Germany in high school and going through a tough time, I listened to this album (as well as NAS) on repeat. This is bringing me back.
So I wanted to share the little project i’m working on for G&A’s wedding present. It’s my first (hopefully of many) vertical succulent walls that I will make. I’ve been propagating succulents for the last few months because you need SO many for even a small project like this. I found this frame at a thrift store and am using it for the frame to hold the little guys. I covered it with an industrial chicken wire (haphazardly nailed to the frame). I am planning on screwing drainage holes in the bottom of the frame because i just used the glass of the frame for the back wall. Now I have to wait about 3 months for them to root under the wire.
